At approximately 2:30pm on July 22nd, Huntersville and Long Creek Fire Departments were dispatched to a working house fire spotted by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Helicopter.
Hunterville Engine 3 Arrived to find a well involved abandoned house and set up operations, followed closely by Long Creek Engine 1. Gilead and Mallard Creek Fire were also called for additional manpower. The fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes.
